Klodshans er en (r)evolution af shakerbordet, et bord med kun to ben. Det skaber luft og ro og tillader fri møblering og bevægelighed. Bordet er knock-down med inspiration fra traditionelle samlinger i ældre dansk byggeskik i træ og er udelukkende udført i fyrretræ – et bæredygtigt alternativ til hårdttræ. Formmæssigt tager designet udgangspunkt i den naivistiske repræsentation af nåletræet: en trekant. Med afsæt i dette illuderes et træ: roden, stammen, kronen og grenene. (Klodshans is a (r)evolution of the Shaker table, a table with only two legs. It creates space and calm and allows free furnishing and movement. The knock-down table was inspired by traditional Danish joinery practices and is made exclusively of pine – a sustainable alternative to hardwood. The form takes its point of departure in the naive representation of the pine tree: a triangle. Based on this image, the piece creates the illusion of a tree: root, trunk, crown and branch.)
