INSPIRATION Søetatens Pigeskole, Borgergade 111, 1300 København. Bygning fra 1858 tegnet af Bernhard Seidelin i historistisk stil / The Navy’s School for Girls, Borgergade 111, 1300 Copenhagen. Building from 1858 designed by Bernhard Seidelin in the historicist style Søestatens pigeskole fra 1858 i Borgergade var kun pigeskole i 10 år, inden kadetterne overtog. / The Danish Navy’s School for Girls from 1858 in Borgergade only functioned as such for 10 years before the navy cadets moved in. The stool was inspired by a picture of girls in striped T-shirts receiving fencing lessons in the beautiful hall, with patterns carved into the wooden ceiling construction and walls with patterns made of bricks in different colours. ‘T-shirt’ is made of wood, upholstered with striped fabric and featuring embroidered ornaments.
