Barskab

Barskabet har form af en klassisk græsk søjle med base og kapitæl. Søjlens tromle er “kanneleret” i form af 52 rundstokke, der fungerer som både sider og døre. Rundstokkenes spil af lys og skygge tegner skabets runde sider op. Mellem rundstokkene skinner lyset ind i skabet, og man mere aner end ser flasker og glas. I undersiden af kapitælen er der indbygget en lampe, som lyser ud mellem tremmerne. Skyggerne kastes ud på gulvet i en cirkel omkring søjlen. // The bar cabinet is shaped like a classical Greek column with a base and capital. The column’s shaft is given a fluted appearance in the form of 52 poles that serve as both sides and doors. The poles create an interplay of light and shade that defines the round sides of the cabinet. Light filters into the interior through gaps between the poles, which also allow a glimpse of bottles and glasses. A lamp built into the underside of the capital sends light out between the bars, casting shadows on the floor that form a circle around the column.
